Jake Bartlett & Morgan Williams
Digital Creator & Educator | Animator & Educator
Jake Bartlett is a motion designer and online instructor based in Denver Colorado. After working at a production company in Los Angeles for nearly five years he decided to quit his day job to pursue the freelancer’s life, teaching animation online. His creativity runs on coffee, lego bricks and “Weird Al” Yankovic. Throughout his career he’s had the opportunity to work for clients like Coca-Cola, Twitter, Skype, Evernote, HGTV, NatGeo Wild and Norah Jones.
Morgan has been a professional animator and animation director for over 20 years. He has created work for numerous clients including Sony Pictures, the BBC, Comedy Central, and WGBH Boston and have been the recipient of several awards including a local ADDY®, a Telly, and a Best in Show award at Minnesota Siggraph. His short film work has been screened at festivals around the world including the Philadelphia International Film Festival and the Annecy International Animation Festival. Morgan is a Certified Duik Instructor and a full time faculty member at Ringling College of Art and Design teaching and developing curriculum in the Department of Motion Design.

This bundle is intended to help a working video editor drastically upgrade their skills and workflow efficiency in a very short time. Throughout these two courses, you'll go from an After Effects beginner to being comfortable doing a variety of useful everyday motion graphics tasks, and round-tripping back to Premiere as a way of enhancing your existing editing work. At the end of After Effects for Editors, you’ll know how to create the key pieces of a branded graphics package from scratch, as well as add graphics to or remove elements from edited footage. In Mogrt Mania, you'll learn how (and why!) to template-ize your After Effects work for quick and easy customization within Premiere Pro.
After Effects for Editors and Mogrt Mania are instant access courses. All lessons are immediately available to you. The lessons include pre-recorded videos, assignments, with supplementary PDFs and project files. You can binge all of the content at once, or take your time and watch it a little at a time. Once you enroll, you will be added to a private classroom with other students taking the course. This is a great tool for connecting, asking or answering questions and sharing thoughts or insights. You can share your work in The Square for peer review.

There are no prerequisite skills for this course. The material is aimed at someone with at least introductory skills in video editing, but those aren’t required at all! After Effects for Editors will prepare you for the AE skills needed to complete Mogrt Mania. The only thing you need to take these courses is a desire to learn and an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
