After Effects just added FBX support in beta, opening up a world of possibilities with Mixamo animations and 3D models. Plus, Unreal Engine 5.6 is on the horizon with improvements to Nanite, Lumen, and a new animation pipeline that could change how we work. Also, EJ Hassenfratz shares a quicktip on getting better looking glass renders in C4D and redshift.

The animated film "Flow" just made Oscar history with two nominations, showing what's possible with Blender and a small team. We've also got news about Plugin Everything's free Thicc Stroke plugin, Adobe giving Substance users access to 20,000 new assets, and a marketplace for Rive animations in development.

Finally, check out Sophie Lee's incredible portfolio update, Golden Wolf's mind-bending new reel, and that hilarious "Tears of a Motion Designer" short film.

✨ BIG NEWS: We just launched our first Blender course, and you can save $100 this week.
