Corridor Crew builds an insane open-source AI keyer, Higgsfield gets caught faking their Vibe Motion demos, and the new M5 MacBook Pros are taking on desktop GPUs for 3D rendering.
This week, the Corridor Crew trains a neural network on synthetically generated data to solve keying problems that have stumped studios for decades, and the results are genuinely startling. The M5 Pro and Max go head to head with PC graphics cards, Jake Bartlett tests Higgsfield's Vibe Motion after they offered him $5,000 to promote it, but his tests look very different from their marketing. Also, Luma Agents launched as a pricey AI concepting tool. The Render Network Wizard now makes cloud rendering from Cinema 4D dramatically easier. We also cover motion design salaries in 2026, Substance Painter 12, Womp's Nano Banana integration, and great work from Liron Eidar-Ash, Coffee & TV, and more.
