This week, Adobe just dropped their Turntable feature in Illustrator beta, letting you spin 2D vector art into 3D space using AI magic, and honestly, the results are pretty bonkers. Meanwhile, Blender developers are cooking up DLSS integration that'll make your viewport smoother than butter, because apparently we needed our 3D software to borrow tricks from video games.
We're also breaking down how Seth Worley pulled off a feature film that looks like it cost 100 million bucks using After Effects and Cinema 4D, proving once again that it's not the tool, it's the artist.
Plus we've got updates on Houdini 21's machine learning integration, Adobe's new VR review tool that feels like the holodeck, and an open source Mixamo alternative. We’ll also look at and check out some great work from studios like Meat Department, BIEN and more.
The Rive Academy Continues!
We are excited to release Rive Academy: Vol. 2, our next-level course for animators, UI artists, and developers who want to learn this powerful tool for interaction design. In volume 2, Joey Korenman will teach you to build and implement a fully interactive website hero section with multiple layers of interactions and is fully responsive. You’ll also learn how to use bones, constraints, nested events, and much more.
